Thanks, Dad for pointing out the Radical Travel website on the last post. Don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. I'll put it in my Links. If anyone is headed over to Great Britain or Ireland, and wants a cheap, lively way to experience the country, I recommend these guys. All you need is a sense of humor and a willingness to sleep in hostels. Want a better idea of the atmosphere on a bus tour? Allow me to illustrate:

HEY MON, WHAT/WHERE ARE THE ROCK CAIRNS IN THE TOUR GUIDE PHOTO?
YOU KNOW ME. SINCE I AM NO LONGER LITHE, I HAVE AN OBSESSION IN THE SUBJECT OF MEGALITHS.
This little bit of entertainment took place pretty close to Fort Augustus. The cairns, I'm fairly certain, were very recently constructed. The tour guides refer to them as the Haggis Cairns. This was while they were telling some yarn about hunting a now-extinct creature called the Haggis. At first I thought this joke was a phenomenon of the Haggis tour company. But no. It seems to be national folklore. There are many websites devoted to these creatures, here's an example:
